Steven Brooksher Jr.

Janelle was born and raised in Baton Rouge. A graduate of St. Joseph's Academy and LSU. She moved to Raleigh, North Carolina for 5 years and returned home before her first daughter was born. She and her husband Gary have 2 daughters and a son. Janelle is a sports fan and pulls for 4 teams: LSU, Tulane, University of Tennessee (through marriage) and the Saints. She has been a manna giver to St. Vincent DePaul for over 30 years and has been involved at St. Aloysius School and Church. Janelle is our business manager.

I grew up next door in the small town of Brandon, Mississippi. My hobbies include soccer, fishing, biking, kayaking, and anything else sports and outdoors. I came to Baton Rouge to attend LSU, and now the Red Stick has been my home for the past 12 years. After 10 years of working in the steel detailing/structural design industry, I chose to pursue a new career where I could have a direct impact on people’s lives. I bring my attention to detail and my passion for educating our neighbors and friends about their insurance needs for protecting their lives and assets.

I am a native to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am a Catholic High School and LSU graduate with a bachelor's degree in graphic design. During my spare time, I enjoy exercising, competing in sports, painting and playing the piano. I also like to be outdoors around nature, usually fishing or hiking trails. I am happily married to Alli Beth and we have three cats and a dog at home.

I have grown to enjoy solving problems for customers and finding out needs and concerns to accomplish their goals. I started my insurance career in 2018 and joined Steven Brooksher agency in 2019. My main focus is on needs-based conversations and recommending suitable plans tailored to the needs of each household.

I spend majority of my time meeting with families to perform comprehensive reviews focused on life insurance and financial needs consisting of goals, objectives and asset protection. I can also help with auto, homeowner, and disability/income protection insurance plans.

John is a graduate of CHS and LSU. He is a Parishioner at Most Blessed Sacrament Church. He is a husband and a father to 2 sweet little girls. He enjoys brewing beer, gardening, as well as woodworking. Before joining Steven Brooksher State Farm, he worked for Write your Congress Man. This gave him experience with business owners; he understands their needs for business insurance, commercial auto, group benefits and life insurance. Kim is a native of Baton Rouge, but lived in Dallas, for 17 years, where her daughter was born. She loved the Dallas area, but was excited to move back home to Baton Rouge to be near her family. She loves football and is a huge fan of LSU and the Saints! Before joining the Steven Brooksher team, she worked in the childcare industry for 39 years as Owner, Director and Regional Director. Her passion is building relationship. She enjoys being in the role of Customer Service Representative and being available to help our policyholders with their insurance needs.

Leah lives in Benton, Louisiana and works remotely for Steven Brooksher State Farm and is a member of the service team. She has been with State Farm since 2016 and brings a ton of experience to our office. She loves working for Steven Brooksher State Farm and is a firm believer in the products and the company. We are so fortunate to have Leah on our team. She is married to Josh Brown; they are blessed with 3 very active and very healthy boys. She loves working from home, it makes her available to help with the family’s dog breeding business.
